Pick an Internet Income Opportunity

Do you need to find an internet income opportunity? I did. Fifteen months ago, I was out of a job and with the economy sinking, I could not find another one. I was desperate to find an income to help support my family. That's when I read an article written by Jeff Johnson.

In that article, Jeff talked about how he was making a living running a network marketing internet business. He said anybody could make a living online in the internet marketing business. "Internet marketing is a legitimate business opportunity for those that learn the ropes and are willing to work at it". Jeff said some marketers were lucky and made it rich very quickly. "Somebody has to win the lottery, but don't count on that person being you. You will earn more as you learn more", he said.

I gave Jeff's article some thought and I began to wonder if maybe I could make a living from internet marketing. Was it possible? I started doing some research and what I found was amazing. Did you know that $95 billion was spent on products off the internet in 2006? In 2007 it rose to $175 billion, $267 billion in 2008, and it's estimated to be over $400 billion in 2009. That's over $1 billion of products sold on the internet every day! And that figure keeps rising.

With that information, I started studying internet marketing and looking for an internet income opportunity. I got on the internet and did a lot of Google searches. I started to learn a lot and I also found out that there is a lot to learn. Internet marketing is much broader than I originally figured. There is a lot of information that you have to be familiar with - pay-per-click, article advertising, email marketing, social bookmarking, press releases, article submission, SEO optimization, and on and on. I found all of this information fascinating, but 3 months later I was still learning and really not sure where to begin. I knew I had to take a different path. That's when I decided to make a one-time small investment.

The investment I decided to make was in an online internet marketing course called ProfitLance.com. When I purchased the course, I figured it would take me 3-4 days to study it. But, I was wrong. The course is very comprehensive and covers most of the avenues in internet marketing. It took me nearly two months to complete the entire course. But, that did not mean that it took me two more months to get started in the internet marketing business. Following some guidelines laid out in the course, I made my first sale 4 days after purchasing Profit Lance. Yes, I could make money in internet marketing and I had found an internet income opportunity!

The ProfitLance.com course provided a structure to my learning process. Instead of me jumping from one subject to another, I followed the course from beginning to end. The course starts with the basics and builds upon them until you have a thorough knowledge of the subject. It is a library of information that will stay with me forever.

I also found out that what Jeff Johnson had said was true - "You will earn more as you learn more". As I studied the ProfitLance.com course, my income continued to grow. I went from pay-per-click advertising, to article advertising, to email marketing. But, now that I had finished the Profit Lance course, I wanted to learn more. So, I invested in another course called the Wealthy Affiliate.

The Wealthy Affiliate provides a lot of the information that ProfitLance.com had provided me, but much more and much more detail. The only problem with the Wealthy Affiliate is that there is a monthly fee. Much of the information on the Wealthy Affiliate can be downloaded, so to continue to learn from it they charge the monthly fee. But, I do not consider that too big of a problem since I am "earning more as I learn more".

In conclusion, I want to say to those people who might be interested, you can make a living in internet marking. You work from your own home and you are your own boss. The profit potential is enormous and the market is still growing. My advice, however, is not to try learning how to do it by yourself. Find someone or something to help you learn the business. Invest in ProfitLance.com, or the Wealthy Affiliate, or some other course. There are too many "hidden strings" to do it by yourself. Now, go pick your internet income opportunity.
